## **Full job description** **RKCS is a prime government contractor providing IT Services to various state, local and federal agencies since 1998.** **For one of these agencies, RKCS requires a Program/ Project Manager to oversee execution of several highly strategic initiatives including Cloud migrations. You lead complex projects, write project plans, and overall responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring project activities.** **Responsibilities:** - **Oversee the successful execution of Azure-based projects from inception to completion.** - **Support the above initiatives using Agile and or Waterfall** - **Manage project reporting and communication** - **Analysis and recommendations for resource considerations;** - **Determine stakeholder engagement plan;** - **Creation of a cost and budget management plan;** - **Provide governance around cloud services** - **Determine key gaps** - **Identify specific actions that can help address the issues.** - **Create work plans and prioritize work at multiple levels (enterprise roadmap, product roadmap, team roadmap, product release plan);** - **Track work plans, priorities, and results to organizational mission, vision, goals, and plans;** - **Incorporate short term tactical needs into work plans as needed;** - **Understand and report on planned vs. actual work progress at multiple levels (roadmap, release plan);** - **Identify and implement best practices, standards, processes, and procedures related to enterprise planning for infrastructure and operations related work, in conjunction with the Enterprise Planning Transition Team;** - **Provide knowledge transfer.** **Hybrid role in St. Paul, with 1 day onsite/week!** **Basic Qualifications:** - **Agile Project Management** - **Experience with managing Azure Cloud solutions** - **Experience with integrating with legacy systems** · **Expertise with Azure data platform, Databricks, Azure DB and API solutions and Terraform Automation.** · Excellent understanding of cloud shared responsibility and security models and Cloud Pricing - Ability to manage quality and consistency across multiple projects in the use of project planning, scheduling, scope, and risk management, status reporting, change control, issues resolution and other project management controls and practices; - Project management experience across varying technologies, with an emphasis on cross-team efforts that include infrastructure and enterprise software applications; - Ability to work with a diverse team, resolve interpersonal conflict, motivate, and develop team members, and influence stakeholders and key decision-makers. - **PMP, CSM, ITIL certifications.**
